Deep Silver launches community survey to gauge interest in upcoming premium bundle; options include beer cooler case and bloodied inflatable beach ball, among others.
Deep Silver has launched a community survey in hopes of gathering feedback from fans about what they would like to see in a collector's edition bundle for upcoming zombie game Dead Island 2. Sound familiar? Deep Silver held a similar survey for Saints Row IV last year.
"Let us know what you want in a Collector's Edition, and we will select the most popular items to create a unique Collector's Edition for Dead Island 2 that matches what YOU want," Deep Silver writes on the survey page.
There are 28 options in all, and you are asked to rate them on a scale of 1 ("do not want") to 5 ("I need this!"). Some of the choices are a beer cooler, bloodied inflatable beach ball, a zombie flag of California, and a Dead Island 2 beach towel.
Dead Island 2 launches in spring 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Unlike theoriginal, Dead Island 2 is in development at Spec Ops: The Line developer Yager, not Techland. The open-world game is set several months after the original and takes place in California.
It's not the only new Dead Island game in the works, however. Deep Silver is also working on a budget-prized stylized stealth game called Escape Dead Island for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Oh, and there's also the MOBA Dead Island Epidemic...and a Dead Island movie.
